Google rolls out Pixel Watch 5 Stephen Curry Edition

Google has released the Stephen Curry Special Edition of its Pixel Watch 5, bringing a bespoke aesthetic and tailored accessories to the company’s wearable lineup.
Initially held back while other variants rolled out following the product’s debut, the athlete-branded model is now on sale for $579.99.
The special variant carries a $50 markup over the standard 45mm LTE configuration, which retails at $529.99. Rather than introducing distinct internal hardware, the price difference covers a unique design package curated alongside the four-time NBA champion.
The device features a 45mm Satin Pyrite case paired with an exclusive Google Performance Loop band in a rye colourway. This specialised strap incorporates a moisture-wicking, water-repellent coating designed to handle intense athletic training sessions. Branding elements, including Curry’s name and his signature #LockIn motto, are integrated directly into the accessory.
Pricing and retail availability
While the $579.99 price tag represents an investment, consumers purchasing the bundle may actually save money depending on their accessory needs. Standalone Google Performance Loop bands retail for $59.99 on the official digital shopfront.
Factoring in the base price of the 45mm LTE watch alongside the retail cost of the band, acquiring the items together under the special edition banner offers a small discount of roughly $10.
Stock for the wearable is strictly limited, with availability secured through the official Google Store, Amazon and select retail partners while supplies last. This rollout marks Google’s second major hardware collaboration with the basketball star this year, following a special-edition Fitbit Air release earlier in the calendar.
Industry observers view the partnership as part of a broader strategy to position Google’s wearable ecosystem firmly within elite sports and fitness training markets.
