Tomorrow X Together member Yeonjun has donated 100mn won ($74,545) to Community Chest of Korea, known locally as the Fruit of Love, to mark his birthday, the organisation said Sunday.
The donation will support elderly people in Seongnam, including free meal programmes and renovation work at ageing welfare facilities, according to the organisation. Yeonjun also became a member of its Honor Society, a group for individual donors who have contributed at least 100 million won or pledged to do so within five years.
Yeonjun said he wanted to share some of the support he had received with others and hoped the contribution would make a tangible difference for people who need assistance.
The donation extends his previous charitable work. He has supported programmes for children facing food insecurity, psychological recovery and post-traumatic stress treatment for firefighters, construction of a hospital for people with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and mental health initiatives for children and teenagers. His latest contribution broadens that support to older people.
Yeonjun expands solo activities in the US
The donation comes during a busy period for Yeonjun as a solo artist. He released his second solo EP, «No Labels: Part 02,» on July 10, led by the track «Ice Cream». The six-song record also includes «Vanilla» and «No More Disco», with Yeonjun contributing to choreography and lyrics on several tracks.
His US promotions have since included a solo appearance on ABC’s Good Morning America Summer Concert Series, along with performances at Z100’s Summer Bash and Billboard’s One Night Only event at the Troubadour in Los Angeles. He has also been confirmed for a solo stage at the 2026 Global Citizen Festival in New York’s Central Park on Sept. 26, where TXT is also scheduled to perform. Organisers said that makes him the second Korean male solo artist invited to the festival after BTS member Jungkook in 2023.
TXT prepares for another world tour
TXT has also remained active as a group. Its fifth Japanese single, «Setsuna Hanabi,» was released in August and subsequently topped both Oricon and Billboard Japan rankings. The release received platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan for August, becoming the group’s sixth platinum-certified release in the country.
The group is now preparing for its next world tour, «STEAL THE WIND,» which is set to begin with three concerts in Seoul from November 13-15. The announced itinerary will then take TXT through Asia, Japan, North America and Europe into 2027, with additional stops expected to be announced.
