Tom Cruise has praised Kate Middleton and Prince William after their reunion at the London premiere of Digger. The actor called the royal couple «amazing» in an interview for The Graham Norton Show airing on September 25.
«They are amazing — very charismatic. I had such a good time,» Cruise said, according to People, which obtained an advance release.
The September 22 outing reunited the trio more than four years after William and Kate attended the Top Gun: Maverick premiere in May 2022.
Cruise also had a compliment ready for the night. Greeting William in his double-breasted velvet dinner jacket, he told the prince: «Great jacket,» PA reported.

Kate’s necklace
Kate arrived at the ODEON Luxe Leicester Square in a purple Jenny Packham gown, pairing it with the Queen Mother’s amethyst sautoir necklace. Kensington Palace confirmed the jewellery choice to Good Morning America.
The necklace dates back to 1923, when Queen Alexandra gave it to Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon, the future Queen Mother, as a wedding present. It had appeared at another major London premiere before: Queen Camilla wore it to Skyfall in 2012.

Kate also wore earrings that belonged to Princess Diana. The royal couple joined guests, including David Beckham and actor Riz Ahmed at the screening, which supported the Film and TV Charity and its work with people across the industry.

Casting Cruise as an oil tycoon, Digger, directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu, challenges the hero to rescue humanity from an environmental disaster that he himself helped cause. Jesse Plemons, Ahmed and Sandra Hüller are also part of the cast.
