Realme rolls out low-cost P4s Lite with 7000mAh battery

Realme P4s Lite, a new budget smartphone that prioritises battery longevity and display performance was presented on Monday. The device officially goes on sale on October 8 in Nebula Black and Moonlight Silver, with prices starting at approximately $170.
The smartphone features a 6.75-inch LCD panel with an HD+ resolution of 1570 by 720 pixels. The screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz maximum touch sampling rate. It delivers up to 900 nits of brightness and is protected by Panda MN228 glass.
A Unisoc T7250 processor powers the device, paired with up to 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 flash storage. Users can expand the storage capacity using a microSD card.
Battery and connectivity

The standout feature is a 7000 mAh battery that the manufacturer says lasts for six years of regular use. The unit supports 15-watt charging and can function as a power bank using 15-watt USB Power Delivery.
Despite the large battery capacity, the phone weighs 215 grams and measures 9 mm thick. It includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and facial recognition for biometric security. The camera system features a 13-megapixel primary rear sensor with autofocus capable of recording 1080p video at 30 frames per second alongside a 5-megapixel front-facing lens.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, a USB Type-C port and a traditional 3.5mm headphone jack. The handset does not support 5G networks.
The Realme P4s Lite will be available in two configurations: a 64GB version priced around 16,499 Indian rupees ($170) and a 128GB variant for 18,499 rupees ($190).
