Samsung Galaxy glasses leak reveals 41g design and 3K video camera

Samsung‘s upcoming Galaxy smart glasses could weigh just 41 grams and offer 3K video recording, according to a new leak revealing specifications, battery life and multiple designs ahead of their expected November launch.
The information, first reported by SammyGuru on October 13, suggests Samsung is preparing a lightweight alternative to Meta’s Ray-Ban smart glasses.
Developed in partnership with Google, the glasses will run Android XR and integrate the Gemini AI assistant. Unlike traditional augmented reality headsets, they will reportedly have no built-in displays, relying instead on cameras, microphones and speakers.
Samsung Galaxy glasses specifications

According to the report, the glasses will feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1 processor, 2GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
A 12MP camera is expected to support 3K video recording at 30 frames per second, matching the recording resolution offered by Meta’s Ray-Ban glasses.
Other reported features include:
- Battery: Up to nine hours of operation, with an additional 72 hours provided by the charging case.
- Audio: Two speakers on each temple and four microphones for Gemini interactions.
- Weight: Approximately 41 grams, compared with around 50 grams for Meta’s smart glasses.
- Connectivity: Potential integration with Galaxy Watch devices through a compatible Samsung flagship smartphone.
Leaked frame designs

The new leak also reveals six frame designs developed with eyewear brands Warby Parker and Gentle Monster.
Warby Parker’s collection reportedly includes wayfarer, rounded and cat-eye frames, with 10 combinations of colours and tinted lenses.
Gentle Monster is preparing square and oval designs, including slimmer frames in cream, light grey and pale lilac.
Samsung has previously confirmed its work on smart glasses with Google and showcased early designs in July. However, the company has not officially announced the leaked specifications or pricing.
The glasses are expected to launch in November 2026, although an exact release date and international availability remain unconfirmed.
