Buy one TV, get another free: Samsung launches major sale in India

Samsung has launched a buy-one-get-one-free television promotion in India, offering customers a second TV worth up to Rs 159,990 ($1,685) when purchasing selected models from its Vision AI range.
The offer forms part of Samsung’s Big, Bigger, Biggest festive campaign, announced on October 14 ahead of Diwali, one of India’s biggest shopping periods.
According to Samsung India, eligible customers can choose between a complimentary Vision AI television and a soundbar worth up to Rs 110,990 ($1,169).
However, the promotion does not apply to every Samsung television. The value of the free product depends on the model purchased, and customers cannot claim both a television and a soundbar under the same offer.
The company is also providing cashback of up to 20%, zero-down-payment financing and a three-year comprehensive warranty on eligible purchases.

What else is included in Samsung’s Diwali promotion?
Samsung is offering installation within four hours of registering a request for eligible Vision AI TVs in supported municipal areas, subject to service availability and other conditions.
The promotion covers selected televisions from Samsung’s Vision AI range, which includes models measuring between 32 and 115 inches.
The TVs feature AI-assisted picture and sound optimisation, alongside SmartThings connectivity for controlling compatible smart home devices.
Additional benefits include access to more than 200 free streaming channels through Samsung TV Plus, three months of Samsung Art Store access and up to seven years of operating system upgrades on eligible models.
Viplesh Dang, vice-president of Samsung India’s visual display business, said the company wanted to encourage customers to upgrade to larger televisions during the festive season.
«With exciting festive offers, flexible payment options, cashbacks, and value-added services, we are making it easier for families to bring home a bigger screen,» Dang said.
The campaign comes as electronics manufacturers compete for customers during India’s festive shopping season, when retailers traditionally introduce discounts and financing offers on televisions, smartphones and home appliances.
Samsung has not published a complete list of qualifying models or a final date for the promotion in its announcement.
Customers are advised to confirm eligibility, the value of the complimentary product and applicable financing conditions before purchasing.
The offer is currently promoted in India, with no announcement of an equivalent campaign in other markets.
