Uzbekistan will exempt entrepreneurs engaged in silkworm cocoon farming at home from income tax, according to the Ministry of Justice.

Income from this activity will remain tax-free until 2026. Additionally, social tax exemptions apply to payments for home-based workers.

Uzbekistan’s enterprises sold approximately 45,400 air conditioners abroad from January to September 2024, generating $10.3 mln in revenue, according to the country’s Statistics Agency.
