Uzbekistan marked upcoming Independence Day with a spectacular aerial display as Su-25 ground-attack aircraft soared above New Uzbekistan Park in Tashkent, leaving trails in the colours of the national flag.
The flyover came shortly after President Shavkat Mirziyoyev delivered his address to the nation.
Similar flights took place at last year’s celebrations, though in 2024 the aircraft only passed over the venue without performing manoeuvres. Ahead of the event, the Uzbekistan Air Force shared footage on its official Telegram channel showing pilots preparing for the mission above the capital.
