The Russian Export Centre (REC) has identified the most promising sectors for Russian exporters seeking to expand their presence in Uzbekistan, RBC reports.
According to the centre, the most profitable opportunities lie in steel products, black metal pipes, polymers, confectionery, wood-based panels, aluminium and its alloys, as well as pharmaceuticals. Russia already exports a wide range of goods to Uzbekistan, including ferrous metals and metal products, timber and wood processing materials, electrical and mechanical equipment, and plastics.
