Uzbekistan joins the Framework Agreement on Facilitation of Cross-Border Paperless Trade in the Asia-Pacific Region (APR) after Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree.
This agreement allows for the mutual recognition of electronic trade documents and customs data exchange. The participating countries aim to improve the interoperability of national electronic document management systems in import-export operations and to align their national legislation with international and interstate standards.
The agreement’s primary targets are to simplify international trade in the Asia-Pacific region, reduce costs and enhance the transparency of customs operations.
