Uzbekistan and Malaysian company Mimos Berhad have agreed to create a joint venture to produce semiconductors, Dunyo news agency reported.
The agreement was reached at a meeting between Uzbek Ambassador Karomiddin Gadoev and Mimos Berhad CEO Saat Shukri Embong. The parties also discussed the idea of a joint technology park and a semiconductor assembly and testing center. Another topic of the talks was the training of skilled professionals.
