Companies from various countries will participate in the construction of a small nuclear power plant in the Jizzak region, according to Azim Akhmedkhadjaev, director of the Atomic Energy Agency of Uzbekistan, according to his interview to Report.
The general contractor for the project will be Russia’s Rosatom State Corporation, with some work being carried out by local Uzbek companies. However, the construction of the nuclear power plant will extend beyond just Russian and Uzbek efforts.
