YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul has admitted his boxing future is uncertain after suffering a serious jaw injury during his heavyweight loss to Anthony Joshua last year.

Paul revealed that he is still recovering from a broken jaw sustained in his December 2025 fight against the former two-time heavyweight champion. The injury required surgery, including titanium plates and dental treatment, and doctors are continuing to monitor the healing process.

Speaking about his recovery, Paul said there is a real possibility he may never return to the ring if medical scans show the injury has not healed properly.

Joshua stopped Paul in the sixth round of their Miami bout, handing the social media star one of the most damaging defeats of his boxing career.

Despite the uncertainty, Paul said he remains hopeful about fighting again once doctors provide further updates on his condition.
