Global music sensations BTS are set to resurrect their hit variety programme «Run BTS» alongside the official release of the track «Come Over», The Korea Herald reports.
The announcements form part of an extensive schedule revealed on Monday for their annual Festa, a yearly festival blending digital and physical events to celebrate the band’s debut on June 13.
This year’s anniversary extravaganza will run parallel to the group’s highly anticipated «BTS World Tour “Arirang» in Busan”. These monumental performances are scheduled to take place at the Busan Asiad Main Stadium on June 12 and 13.
The Festa schedule
Fans can expect a jam-packed week of exclusive content leading up to the main concerts:
- Thursday: The celebrations kick off with the release of the traditional BTS family portrait, a beloved staple of the Festa period since 2014.
- Friday: A brand new performance video for «Hooligan», a song featured on their fifth studio album «Arirang», will be unveiled to the public.
- Sunday and Monday: The group will share additional video content titled «Normal Log» and «13 Side Film».
- June 10 and 11: The hugely popular self-produced variety show returns with «Run BTS 2.0». The franchise remains a massive hit for the group; a recent three-part special dubbed «Run BTS: BTS’s Trip» and its accompanying teasers have already racked up nearly 30 mln views on YouTube.
- June 12: «Come Over», a track produced by Suga and previously locked behind the deluxe vinyl edition of «Arirang», will finally get an official wide release. Fans can also look forward to the launch of the «Arirang (613 Limited Edition Picture Disc Vinyl)» on the exact same day.
Triumphant return to Busan
The dual concerts on June 12 and 13 will be an emotional milestone for the septet and their dedicated fanbase. It marks their first return to the coastal city since their October 2022 «Yet To Come» show, which supported Busan’s bid for the World Expo 2030.
That previous gig held immense sentimental value as it was the band’s final collective performance before the members embarked on their mandatory military service. Unsurprisingly, tickets for the upcoming stadium shows have already completely sold out.
The group is currently riding high following the successful completion of the North American leg of their «Arirang» world tour. Wrapping up at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on May 28, the massive trek spanned five cities including Tampa and Mexico City. The 15-date run was completely sold out and performed to an impressive crowd of roughly 840,000 concertgoers.
