A prominent technology insider has revealed early specifications for the upcoming Oppo A7 Pro Max, pointing to a budget-friendly smartphone dominated by an unusually large power unit, Rozetked reports.

According to details shared by the reliable tipster Digital Chat Station, the standout feature of the unannounced handset will be a massive 10,000 mAh battery. Despite the substantial power capacity, the device will reportedly support 80W fast charging to minimise time spent connected to a wall socket.

Historically, smartphones equipped with battery capacities approaching the 10,000 mAh mark have been marketed exclusively as rugged devices with thick, cumbersome exteriors built for extreme outdoor conditions. However, the leaked physical dimensions for the Oppo A7 Pro Max suggest a sharp departure from this established industry trend.

The device will reportedly measure just 8.47 millimetres in thickness and weigh a relatively modest 226 grams. These measurements make it directly comparable in physical footprint and weight to many modern premium flagship devices that carry roughly half the battery capacity.

High refresh rate and new entry-level processing power

Beyond the endurance capabilities, the leak outlines a highly capable display panel for the budget tier. The smartphone is expected to feature a 6.78-inch screen offering a 1.5K visual resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate to enhance the overall user experience.

Internally, the device will rely on Qualcomm’s newest entry-level silicon architecture. The handset is tipped to be powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset, positioning the phone firmly in the affordable market while delivering modern processing capabilities and battery efficiency.

The camera system appears straightforward but highly functional for the target demographic. The rear photographic configuration will rely on a 50-megapixel primary sensor paired with a secondary 2-megapixel lens, which will likely function as a dedicated depth sensor or a macro camera. Interestingly, Oppo has reportedly matched the primary rear resolution on the front of the device, equipping the handset with a high-resolution 50-megapixel selfie camera.

The Chinese manufacturer has not yet officially acknowledged the existence of the smartphone. Further details regarding memory configurations, global availability, retail pricing and an official announcement date remain entirely unknown.
