Tom Holland made «Hot Ones» history by becoming the first person to vomit on camera during the popular YouTube talk show.
The British actor appeared on Thursday’s episode alongside Jon Bernthal to promote their upcoming films, «The Odyssey» and «Spider-Man: Brand New Day.» Holland struggled with the escalating spice levels immediately and relied heavily on milk to soothe the burn.
«That’s battery acid,» Holland said during the first round. «I feel like I could black out. You know, it’s amazing how the milk helps, and then immediately it comes right back.»
Following the round, the 30-year-old began coughing uncontrollably before dropping out of frame to vomit behind the tablecloth. Bernthal encouraged the crew to document the moment while Holland quickly recovered and insisted the producers use the footage.
The actor proudly noted his Louis Vuitton outfit survived the incident spotless.
When Bernthal asked if anyone had ever been sick on the set before, host Sean Evans confirmed it was a show first.
«I love being the first,» Holland said.
«The Odyssey» is currently showing in cinemas and «Spider-Man: Brand New Day» opens on 31 July.
