Seventeen main vocalist DK is expanding his solo repertoire with a new soundtrack contribution for the Netflix supernatural romance series «Spooky in Love.»
The track, titled «Stay With Me,» is scheduled for release on Sunday. It serves as the second official song for the streaming programme, which premiered globally on July 18.
Starring Park Eun-bin and Yang Se-jong, the 12-episode series centres on an unlikely partnership. It follows Cheon Yeo-ri, a hotel heiress haunted by restless spirits, and Ma Gang-wook, an elite prosecutor who is terrified of the paranormal. The pair teams up to solve cold murder cases, blending horror and romantic comedy. New episodes drop every Saturday and Sunday on the platform.
Musically, DK’s dramatic contribution transitions from a gentle piano introduction into an explosive rock anthem, matching the show’s intense thematic shifts. Born Lee Seok-min, the artist is celebrated in the K-pop industry for his powerful vocal range and rich volume. He serves as a core vocalist for Seventeen and acts as the leader of the group’s highly successful BSS subunit. His previous solo projects include prominent musical theatre roles and other television soundtracks, cementing his reputation as a versatile performer.
The Netflix series has quickly gained traction since its mid-July debut. Viewers have praised the chemistry between the lead actors and the unique blend of occult mystery and lighthearted romance. DK’s energetic vocal delivery in «Stay With Me» is expected to underscore the show’s climactic investigative scenes.
DK and Seungkwan subunit tour expands
The latest musical release coincides with the final leg of DK’s regional touring commitments alongside bandmate Seungkwan. The duo travelled to Kaohsiung, Taiwan, on Thursday ahead of their highly anticipated weekend performances that kick off on Friday.
Unprecedented demand for the Taiwan concerts, which mark the conclusion of their «Serenade on Stage» Asia tour, prompted organisers to rapidly expand the itinerary. Initially planned as a single Taipei engagement, two additional dates were added after the first wave of tickets immediately sold out. The expansion highlights the enduring popularity of Seventeen’s members across the continent.
